Erbauer: Ian Barraclough

The tank transporter is the Trumpeter model modified to look like a civilian Isuzu truck. It was painted using Tamiya acrylics and weathered using a sponge for the chipping and Mig powders. The wheels are made of rubber and despite my best efforts will not go 'matte' as something in the rubber seems to seep through all the time.

I used:

1. the Tamiya T-55 (Hull and wheels)
2. the Airdale Castings Ch-69 (Turret,lights and fittings)
3. the Mig productions Burnt out T-55 set (Fuel drums and burnt wheels)
4. 3 Voyager T-55 etched brass sets (fenders, bins and detail set)

It was painted using tamiya and Life Color acrylics, oil washes and Easy-Mud for the dust. The rust method was copied from the Scratchmod website (http://www.scratchmod.com/Salt_Hairspray_Technique.php)
